Electric motors need maintenance too
When you buy a Volvo combustion engine, you know you'll have to visit our workshop for annual maintenance. But what about an electric Volvo, where hardly any oil circulates?
If you're the owner or future owner of an electric Volvo, you're not exempt from a visit to the dealer. But unlike combustion-powered vehicles, this visit only takes place every 2 years or 32,000 km, mainly to change the pollen filter (valid for C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge).
After 4 years or 62,000 km, you need to change the pollen filter again, as well as the liquid in the vehicle's puncture kit.
Don't neglect other mechanical parts of the vehicle

- Avoid exposing your Volvo electric to extreme temperatures
In Quebec, it's impossible to avoid harsh winters and sub-zero temperatures. However, you can protect your Volvo electric motor by storing it in a dry place where the temperature doesn't vary.
- Avoid excessive rapid loading
