2025 Volvo EX30 pricing in Canada

After months of discussing the new Volvo EX30, it's time to answer the most important question of all: how much will it cost?

The price announcement is all the more important because we know how much you love this new electric SUV, which meets the specific needs of the city, and your commitment to the environment.

So, in this article, we share with you the prices per version of the 2025 Volvo EX30, to better guide you in your purchasing decision.

What is the Volvo EX30?

Before going into detail about the pricing of the new Volvo EX30, we wanted to take a look at some of the vehicle's strengths.

First of all, it's important to point out that the Volvo EX30 has been entirely designed around its electrification, with the aim of offering buyers a 100% electric vehicle at a competitive price.

The Volvo EX30 is offered in two versions, both powered by a 69 kWh battery. The Single Motor version features a 2-wheel drive system with 268 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque. As for the Twin Motor version, power rises to 422 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque.

But the real novelty with the Volvo EX30 is its eco-responsible design. With his firm commitment to sustainable development, Anders Kärrberg, Global Head of Sustainability at Volvo, affirms the group's determination to reduce its CO2 emissions by 40% per car by 2025.

This commitment is underpinned by the use of recycled materials in the EX30's design: almost a quarter of its aluminum and 17% of its steel come from recycled materials. Even the plastics used both inside and out are 17% recycled. The interior is no exception, blending denim, linen and a wool blend containing almost 70% recycled polyester, reinforcing the brand's ecological commitment.

Prices for the 2025 Volvo EX30

Since the presentation of the Volvo EX30 2025, prices have been unknown. Today, however, we can finally reveal the prices for each version.

Core trim

First of all, the Core trim is only available as a Single Motor, but this keeps the price down, starting at $53,700.

This trim level includes all Volvo's safety features: Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and front and rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking.

Plus trim

Then there's the Plus trim, which gives access to both engines and more standard comfort equipment.

These include a panoramic roof, dual-zone climate control and Park Assist with front and rear cameras.

As for prices, you'll have to disburse $56,900 for a Single Motor version and $59,100 for the Twin Motor.

Ultra trim

Finally, the Ultra trim allows you to drive a fully-equipped Volvo EX30 for a price of $59,900, if you choose the Single Motor version, or $62,100 for the Twin Motor version.

However, while these prices are officially from Volvo Canada, they may be subject to change at any time without notice for all trims.

Is there a government discount?

Yes, you are entitled to a government discount.

If you live in Quebec, you'll be entitled to a $12,000 rebate on the purchase or lease of a new Volvo EX30, regardless of the version you choose.
